DSL Modem Configuration

DSL Modem Installations


Now a days DSL Connection requires LAN card to configure. Because our ISP providers are bringing the Internet connection through 4 pair co-axial (CAT-5 or CAR-6) cables. And then they are convert the Analog signals to digital signals through ADSL Spliters

Converted Digital Signals will pass through by the CAT-5 Cable into our System via LAN Card

After the outdoor work will finished, we'll configure our system

The ISP Providers are giving the IP, Gateway & DNS Details

Procedure:

* Start
* Control Pannel
* Network Places
* TCP / IP Settings
* Enable IP Address and give your details

Ex :

IP : 192.168.1.26
Subnet Mask : 255.255.255.0

Gateway : 192.168.1.1

Primary DNS : 202.9.145.12
Secondary DNS : 202.9.145.15
